The Wolf in the Trees

The pattern was pretty simple. I beat her, she got angry and then beat me...and vice versa. We did this for a while but our adrenaline started to trickle down so we lay down and panted.

I sighed. "good job..... Channeling....... Your anger" I panted.

I was much to tired to grin, and it hurt to talk but I was able to say a few things. "It's...fairly..easy...sometimes.." I panted

Blazeflicker rushed to camp, hoping to find Neo after the scene with Kretari. When she arrived, she sniffed the air. "Neo?" she called.

I wonder how my pack is doing I thought. My head shot up. "My pack!" I exclaimed. I got up and grabbed the bag with herbs. "I'm so sorry Roxy!" I called over my shoulder. "But they must be worried!" I ran as fast as I could, but still stumbled. When I got to the entrance. I was practically dying!

Blaze kept looking for Neo. "Neo?" She grumbled to herself. "Where could that idiot be?"

My lungs were burning and my bones were melting. "Help!" I called weakly. Thankfully there was a she-wolf just coming out to go on patrol. "Clei, get help!" I called. She nodded, eyes wide and rushed inside yelping, "Kretari is back! She needs help!"

I heard a yelp and I ran toward Lost Pack. I saw Kretari, looking like she was about to stop breathing. I dashed toward her. "Kretari!!"

"Blaze!" I said. "Don't worry about me...my pack mates are coming." I coughed. "Actually..." I paused. "I don't think they're strong enough. Go get some Light Pack healers for me." I ordered

Blaze nodded and ran toward Light Pack. She found Silas in his den. "Silas, I need to borrow some healers! I'll explain later!" He looked confused but nodded and Blaze took Accalia, Minsi, and Lykaios and dashed back to Kre.

I saw Blaze in the distance with a few other Light Pack healers. I sighed in relief. "Where's Roxy?" I asked, once they got there. "Don't talk!" scolded one of the healers.

Minsi looked her over while Accalia took herbs from the pouch hanging from her neck. Lykaios got water and some berries. Blaze stood by her side, being a bit overprotective. Kre was like family. "It's okay, Kre. They'll help you. Roxy is in Song Pack. Should I get her?"

I thought for a bit. Then Clei came with a few other wolves. "Clei! Go to Song Pack and tell Roxy I need her!" I called. She nodded and ran off. "It's okay guys! The Light Pack wolves got me!" I called to the other wolves. They nodded and padded off. "Stay with me Blaze." I said

I smiled. "Don't worry, I will. You're like my sister, and sisters don't leave sisters." I smiled slyly. "So, you excited for your birthday? You did remember, right?"

My tail whipped my head! "Great Luna!" I exclaimed. "I forgot my own birthday! How does this happen?" I shook my head.

I shrugged. "Dunno. But....let's celebrate! Well, after you're done being examined." Minsi chuckled softly and Lykaios smiled. Accalia looked like a statue, no emotions at all.

I cocked an eyebrow. "Sure." I said shrugging.

Minsi gave Kre the herbs, and she made a disgusted face. Blaze could tell she hated the taste.

"Why do they taste so nasty?" I whined. I pawed at my tongue. I was feeling a lot better though.

OOF: BLaze!!!! Accalia is my mothers name!!! SEriously! How is the Alpha of SongPack healing Great Dane!

IF: I lookoked around. "Stand Back." I ordered. THey did, and I focusewd all my inner thoughts on Kreatari. Then, I glowed white with energy. It flahed so bright, for a moment, nobody could see. but when they did, I looked normal, and Kretari looked much better.

I grinned. "Aren't ya gunna wish me a happy birthday?" I teased.

I blinked my eyes in confusion, kind of befuddled that what I did had nop wow affect on her whatsoever. "Yeah!! Happy Birthday!"
