A Loner

Kretari padded through the trees, slowly following a faint scent that she had found about a mile earlier. She had been walking around, just taking a break from family when she smelled it. It seemed to be on the edge of Lost Pack territory, dipping in only here and there. Kretari sniffed at a tree. She was definitely on the right path. She looked down at the damp forest ground and saw paw prints. Not ones that she knew. It worried her.

Natalia padded along the unfamiliar side of the forest, her eyes wide open in curiosity, as she observed the new yet familiar surroundings around her. Thoughts were wandering her mind, until a sudden scent filled her nose, making Natalia's ears perk up in alert, and her paws move faster. She knew she was walking close to someone's territory so she decided to try and escape before getting caught.

Kretari went into a run. The intruder was closer, she could smell it. It seemed female, but Kretari wasn't sure. She skidded to a stop. "Hello?" She growled slightly menacingly. "Anyone there?"
