where am i?

I sat next to the same tree i always did. I have always been alone having to find berries and even small squirrels to try and catch for my food. I go outside of my little burrow i made under some roots and start to look for berries on nearby bushes when i hear noises "Hello, Who's there." I slowly back up towards my home and growl softly unsure who or what is coming my way.

I was a little relieved when the noise seemed to stop and I didn't see anyone yet. I yawned and howled lowly, I felt good but a little tired. I finished the last of the squirrel I caught and poked my head out from behind the roots to make sure no more squirrels were near by, if they were I'd have to catch them while I had a chance.
